Description: Prospectuses, Baring Issues are prospectuses for debt and equity issues lead-managed by Barings although Barings' name does not always appear on them. Also included are the application forms and other papers distributed with them.These prospectuses were kept by the Stock Office as specimen records and were glued into guard books. All the prospectuses have been removed from the books and conserved. They have been arranged according to the country to which the issues relate.Prospectuses have been retained elsewhere in the archives, for example in Partners' Files, with the files relating to the transaction, while an early series is glued into the partnership notices book kept by the Company Secretary. More recent ones are to be found in the Offer Documents series.Most of these prospectuses were formerly bound in to a volume catalogued at 101983. This volume no longer exists.
